Kelly Clarkson was an American musician and singer who became the sweetheart of America after she was crowned American Idol in the first series. The show's win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson into the limelight and fortune, but it also secured her a deal with RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records to release a variety of albums. Since then, she's recorded numerous studio albums, including three that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart while the other albums narrowly did not make it to the top. Her name is regarded as one of the greatest success American Idol artists. In order to achieve success, she tried out different musical styles, and explored subjects. Due to her distinctness and ability in the field of singing, she was praised by reviewers and was awarded a couple of prestigious award. She has been awarded the Grammy Award 3 times. Aside from her career as a musician, she's been featured on film and television. She is also the author of the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and been involved in numerous charities.
