Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a sixteen year old American who was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. The father of her was Argentine who had Scottish and English roots. Her mother has Spanish as well as English ancestry. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four come from her father's previous marriage. The family lived in Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria part of London. Taylor-Joy stated that the move had been painful, and she refused to study English because she hoped to be able to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the moved from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in shows. When she was 16, she quit school in order to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to be an actor. The opportunity was offered to her chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered a job as a model.
